Class Notes 1990s
Willis Potts, '90 ChE, Prairieville, La., recently transferred to Louisiana with Dow Chemical as a technical associate in the Tech Center. He and wife Dena have two daughters - Megan, 6 and Morgan, 3.
Charles Ott, '92 MFA, Salem, Mass., was chosen to be this year's faculty commencement speaker at Montserrat College of Art, where he teaches in the Foundations Department. He will also be traveling to the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts as a delegate from Montserrat for the inauguration ceremonies of its new president, Mary K. Grant. In June he travelled to Dublin, Ireland, for the third summer in a row and will continue to work on a series of paintings, drawings and photographs he started to develop during his first visit there.
Jack Murray, '96 AgBu, recently moved back to Bozeman. He and wife Jodi were married last July.
William Hewitt, '97 EEET, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was promoted to senior engineering manager for Rockwell Collins. With his promotion he will lead the "special projects" team. This team of engineers designs electronic warfare products for the U.S. military as well as other U.S. Government agencies.
Kyle Winling, '98 CET, Fort Wayne, Ind., works for the Allen County Highway Department. An airport project he worked on won a national American Concrete Paving Association award for county roads in Boca Raton, Fla., in December.
Douglas Martin, '99 BuMg, Colorado Springs, Colo., was recently hired by the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation and has been named director of the Rocky Mountain State Games. The Rocky Mountain State Games is an Olympic-style sports festival for residents of Colorado and features competition in 18 sports.
