Edward Mooney, Jr., '80 ESci, Palmdale, Calif., recently sold his Stone Man Trilogy of books to Fast Carrier Picture, who will make them into movies over the next three and a half years. More information on the books can be found at: www.EdwardMooney.com/pearls.
Kathleen (Urquhart) Lowery, '80 Nurs, was ordained into Word and Sacrament Ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on June 1. She has been called to pastor Stordahl Lutheran Church of Zumbrota, Minn.
Carol (Iverson) Sippel, '84 Hort, and husband, Walter, live in Renton, Wash. They served on the Father's Day Council of Seattle to select and honor the Father of the Year. In June they rode in a bike-a-thon to support the Diabetes Association.
Douglas Van Gorden, '85 CS, Ft. Lee, Va., was promoted to lieutenant colonel in December. He has been in the U.S. Army since graduation. He has served six years in Germany and was signal officer for the 3rd Armored Brigade during Desert Storm.
Nancy (Korizek) Hines, '87 Spcm, lives in Billings with husband Tony. Their eight-year-old company (H2O Advertising) is merging with Wendt-Kochman Advertising. The annual combined capitalized billing is $18 million.
Margo Kober, '88 BioSci, lives in Seattle, Wash., with husband, Thomas, and their two children, Oliva Kristine, 4, and Samuel Thomas, 2. She practices medicine at Minor and James Medical Clinic.
James E. Stock, '88 BuFi, Huntington Beach, Calif., was awarded an MBA with Distinction from Keller Graduate School in Irvine, Calif., in June.
Gary Gunville, '89 Arch, is currently living in Bend, Ore., with wife Katy (Kirkmire), '85 Eng, and daughter Claire, 7. Gary works for Steele Associates Architects. Katy works for Bend-LaPine School District, at Pilot Butte Middle School. They moved from Seattle in 2002.
Marne (Brown) Frost, '89 Micro, Lake Stevens, Wash., received a pharmacy degree in 1994. She is the managing pharmacist at Albertson's in Marysville, Wash.
