From
Alumni Association Director
|
 |
| Dear
Alumni, |
| I
think that you will enjoy this issue of the
Collegian. It is filled with exciting and
interesting news about MSU and stories of
our alumni. I hope that as you read the pages,
you'll agree that "it's a great time to be
a Bobcat." |
| Please
remember to stop by the Alumni Association
when you return here for summer vacation.
Drop in and say "hi," have a soft drink or
a cup of coffee. |
|
| Summer
is always a wonderful time for us to reconnect with
many of you as you make Bozeman and MSU an important
stop on your journey. |
|
| Are
you a member of the Alumni Association? Thank you to those
of you who are. If you haven't joined, please do so. Your
annual dues help us to publish the Collegian, the electronic
newsletter, Montana State-ments, and host Homecoming,
Cat/Griz Satellite parties and other alumni events, and
support student scholarship and leadership opportunities.
Most of all, it's a way for you to be connected. |
| Talk
to us. Let us know what the Association does that you
like and what we could be doing for you. Drop a note via
alumni@montana.edu. I have had some interesting conversations
with alumni who have written. It is a neat way to have
a one-on-one conversation, and I can quickly respond to
an e-mail. |
| Be
an active part of the MSU community. Attend one of the
events that will take place in your area. Better yet,
let us know that you would like to help plan one. Seriously
consider making a gift to our Scholarship Campaign. Contact
your college friends and start making plans to return
to Bozeman for Homecoming. As an alumnus, you are important
to Montana State University and its future. Stand up and
be proud. |
| Enjoy
reading about your alma mater. |
| Sincerely, |
 |
| Jaynee
