MSU honors top students and mentors with 2005 Excellence Awards
Forty-one Montana State University students were recognized as the university's top seniors at the 23rd annual Awards for Excellence Banquet held Feb. 22.
The banquet, sponsored jointly by the Montana State University Alumni Association and the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce, honors the university's top students. Honored students are nominated by faculty in their college or department. Qualified students must have a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale as well as demonstrated campus leadership and community service. In turn, the award-winning students each select a mentor to be honored with them at the event.
"These students are ones who leave Montana State University and continue to pursue excellence in their careers, their communities and their personal lives," said Jaynee Drange Groseth, director of the MSU Alumni Association. "They are, and will continue to be, leaders. We look forward to their active participation in Montana State University's family of alumni."
