College of Engineering Bobcats Team Up for Quality Photo by Deborah Nash, MMEC When Bobcat alums from the Montana Manufacturing Extension Center (MMEC) and Columbia Falls Aluminum Company (CFAC) teamed up to pursue ISO 9000/2000 quality registration for CFAC, the results were a flawless certification audit. Fewer than 10 percent of certifying companies achieve "zero findings" during this audit, a rigorous inspection performed by an independent ISO Registrar prior to certification.
