When Bobcat alums from the Montana Manufacturing Extension Center (MMEC) and Columbia Falls Aluminum Company (CFAC) teamed up to pursue ISO 9000/2000 quality registration for CFAC, the results were a flawless certification audit. Fewer than 10 percent of certifying companies achieve "zero findings" during this audit, a rigorous inspection performed by an independent ISO Registrar prior to certification.
