Richard Bratton , '60 Bus, was honored this year by the U.S. Mint in appreciation for his efforts to promote the Sacajawea dollar. According to a story that appeaared in The News-Record (Gillete, Wyo.) U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi said Bratton has single handedly given out more Sacajawea dollars than anyone in the United States. Lynn (Johnson) Constance, '62 Nurs, Spokane, Wash., has retired from school nursing. She has five grandchildren - three boys and two girls.
Charlotte (Decker) Knaub, '67 Nurs, Sun City Center, Fla., is a nurse-consultant who returned to the U.S. Aug. 18 after spending three weeks in Amarah, Iraq, assisting in conducting a Rapid Assessment Survey to determine conditions in need of improvement for returning refugees and displaced persons. "The Iraqi families in this area have little of anything, but were welcoming and willing to work at anything to help improve their situation."
Fred Jessett, '68 M, Sammamish, Wash., had his unpublished novel, When Drummer Loved Dancer, chosen as a finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers' Association Literary Contest.
Thomas Bivins, '68 Hist, Clancy, retired from the Montana Dept. of Fish, Wildlife and Parks after a 32-year career. He is currently working for the Montana Public Employees Association as a field representative.
Gary Breed, '69 F&TV, and wife, Cathy, Carlsbad, Calif., celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this year. They have nine children and six grandchildren. Gary would love to hear from old F&TV grads from 1969-70.
Edith (Neumeyer) Hill, '69 EdHE, Bozeman, was named Program Director of the Year, a national distinction chosen from 480 chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. She was presented the award June 20 at the national conference in Nashville, Tenn. She continues as the program director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County.
