Class Notes 1990s
Eric, '91 SecEd, and Joanie (Curry) Bechtle, '92 BioS, live in Whitefish where Eric is employed in outside sales for Stock Lumber, and Joanie practices as a veterinarian. They welcomed their first child, a son, Jackson Thomas, born Dec. 28, 2003. He joins pets Keenan, Simon, Bagherra, Figaro and Roubadeux.
Brian Mosdal, '92 ME, '94 M, Ankeny, Iowa, transferred to the Cotton Division of John Deere in January. He is now on the 7460 cotton stripper design team.
Laura Del Guerra, '92 HHD, a registered dietitian and Missoula resident, was among the national leaders of the American Dietetic Association who were selected to attend ADA's first Leadership Institute, held February 19-22 in Tucson, Ariz. Laura is a clinical dietitian at St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center, and serves as president of the Montana Dietetic Association.
Mikal Stoner, '92 BioS, Lacey, Wash., was promoted to the field grade rank of Major in the U.S. Army. She currently is in the Master's Clinical Lab Medicine Program at the University of Washington.
Joel, EX '93, and Amy (Ragels) Wing, '92 Spcm, live in Blair, Neb. Joel took a new position with AmeriTrade in Omaha in February. Amy works at Methodist Hospital in Omaha on the OB floor and also in Blair in their OB department teaching childbirth courses. They are expecting their fifth child in August.
Gregory A Hebner, '95 CET, is temporarily living and working on a project in South Africa. He is employed by Hensel Phelps.
Capt. Greg Cromwell, '96 Econ, U.S. Army, reported for duty with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) attached to the II German Army Corps (Bundeswehr) in Ulm, Germany. His assignment began March 1. Greg and wife, Sabine, live in Opfingen, Germany, southwest of Ulm.
Noah Zahrobsky, '98 ModL, Monterey, Calif., will receive his M.A. in international policy study from the Monterey Institute of International Study. He has accepted a position to work in Pristina, Kosovo, in the area of program evaluation and conflict resolution.
John Babcock, '99 Watershed Mgt, has been working as a hydrologic technician at Land and Water Consulting in Missoula for the past three years. His primary responsibility is working with water quality issues on the Clark Fork River. "Living in the middle of Griz country has been difficult, but they haven't had much to brag about the past few years." John still manages to ski 40+ days a year, but desperately misses Bridger Bowl.
