Matters . . . |
| The Montana
State University Alumni Association is its members. Every Collegian,
every event, every scholarship is made possible because of the
members of our Alumni Association. The Collegian is published
four times a year and reaches approximately 65,000. |
- The
Collegian serves to keep alumni informed of the happenings
at your alma mater and with fellow alumni. The Montana State
University Alumni Association's monthly electronic newsletter,
Montana State-ments, reaches about 15,000 alumni with e-mail
addresses.
- Events
such as Homecoming, reunions, tailgates, Cat/Griz satellite
parties and many others bring alumni together not only to
see old friends and reminisce, but also to create new relationships
and networks with other alumni.
- Do
you remember the struggle to pay tuition or the years of
student loans? Did you ever wish for more scholarships?
The MSUAA scholarship program help students by contributing
thousands of dollars to reward the best and brightest students
attending Montana State.

"Being
a member of the Alumni Association is our link to
all who have gone before us, those who attended school
with us, and those who have succeeded us. No matter
when we attended MSU, we all possess that unique relationship
of having experienced outstanding educational opportunities,
forming new friendships and the fun times that indelibly
bind us together. Being a member of the Alumni Association
is the vehicle that enables us to stay in touch with
MSU and each other--we are a family." - Merle Korizek

"Being
a member of the Alumni Association is all about people
and pride. Helping rediscover the people who shared
the most exciting and impressionable years of my life...and
maintaining my pride for more than 40 years of accomplishments
by MSU students, faculty and administrators. And every
year, I am enriched by meeting new people and witnessing
more MSU progress to be proud of. What a rejuvenating
process. I highly recommend it." - Bill Gum '67

"
Being a member of the Alumni Association is all about
being connected--to one another and to Montana State
University. It's about pride--pride in MSU and pride
in being affiliated with an institution that has had
such an impact on our lives. And, it's about the benefits
that flow from a group committed to meeting the needs
of its alumni by providing support and services to
a diverse group of constituents with a common bond,
an affiliation with the best university in Montana."
