Cat/Griz Football Tickets The Alumni Office staff would like to express their apologies to those members of the Alumni Association who requested but did not receive tickets to the 2003 Cat/Griz football game. The ticket purchasing priority that was offered as a benefit of membership was honored and enjoyed by several hundred Alumni Association members. Hundreds more received a letter saying the game was a sellout and tickets were no longer available. This is not a situation Montana State University has encountered before. In previous years, ticket requests have not exceeded seat availability. This was not the case in 2003. Again, we apologize for the disappointment you felt and the inconvenience you might have experienced. It is always our intention to serve the needs of our Alumni Association members. Unfortunately, we don't have control of the football team's success nor of the increased number of season tickets purchased. Those were major contributors to the success of the sellout Cat/Griz game, but also the cause of a great deal of disappointment for alumni who anticipated being in the crowd on that day. This situation will be reviewed prior to the 2005 Cat/Griz game hosted in Bozerman.
