(Hornsby) Galligan, '80 PE, has lived in Denver, Colo.,
since 1983. She is busy working as a mortgage loan officer
with First Horizon Home Loans and spending time with husband
Brian and kids, Shannon, 9, and Brennan, 8. "Hope to take
my family to Bozeman soon." |
| Tamie
(Pachek) Lancaster, '80 AgBu, Kennewick, Wash., a
middle school science teacher with 10 years of teaching
experience, has been named the WSTA's Middle Level Science
Teacher of the Year for 2003. |
| Lt.
Col. William Oriet, U.S. Army, '81 Hist, professor
of military science for Gonzaga University's ROTC Bulldog
Battalion during the past academic year, was recently
honored as winner of a 2003 U.S. Army Cadet Command Award
for Excellence at the annual awards banquet. He was presented
the Meritorious Service Medal for being named the Cadet
Command's top Professor of Military Science for 2003 during
a recent ceremony at San Antonio. Oriet has since been
assigned as the operations officer of the Western ROTC
at Fort Lewis, Wash. |
| Robert
Wheeler, '81 Acctg, North Bend, Wash., is a shareholder
and head of the Tax Services Group for Clark Nuber in
Bellevue, Wash. He and wife Keri have three children:
Anna, 12, Ben, 9, and Robin, 1. |
| Brian
Foley, '82 Micro, and wife Phyllis (Flaugh),
'85 ModL, have moved to a new home in White Rock, N.M.
Brian works for the HIV/AIDS databases at Los Alamos Labs,
and Phyllis is raising twin daughters (age 5) and volunteering
with several agencies, including a citizens review board
which oversees foster parent placements in New Mexico. |
| Bonita
K. Peterson, '83 Acctg, Bozeman, has been awarded
the Jack J. Kempner Outstanding Educator Award. Bonita
is an associate professor of accounting in the College
of Business at MSU. |
| Alyson
Mike, '85 BioSci, East Helena, an East Valley Middle
School science teacher, is the recipient of the Milken
Family Foundation National Educator Award. One of only
100 teachers nationwide selected by the foundation, she
will receive a $25,000 award and be recognized at a special
education conference in Washington, D.C. She has also
been selected as Montana's 2004 Teacher of the Year. |

Northey, '87 CET, Anchorage, Alaska, has passed the
CPC test and is now a Certified Professional Constructor.

| Gordon
Kroemer, '87 Chem/Sec Ed, Newberg, Ore., has completed
all requirements for certification as a Certified Safety
Professional, CSP, and has accepted the position of academic
affairs safety officer at Linfield College. |
| Thomas
Sullivan, '87 CE, Missoula, and wife Virginia (Swan),
'87 Spcm, have three children: Daniel, 12, Mari, 10, and
Mac, 8. "We love it when the 'Cats win in Missoula!" |
| Onalee
(Drury) Flynn, '89 Psyc, '91 SecEd, Billings, received
a master's degree in school counseling from MSU-Billings
in May 2002 and started working for the Billings School
District #2 in August 2003 as an elementary school counselor.
