Class Notes 1980s
Carla Magenheimer, '82 PE, after seven years of living overseas, mostly in Egypt, will be moving to Boston, Mass., to work on a master's degree in library and information science. Old friends can reach her at cmagenheimer@yahoo.com.
Lauri (Moffet) Fehlberg, '83 Arch, Pleasanton, Calif., has been promoted to an associate position with Dahlin Group Architecture Planning, headquartered in San Ramon, Calif. Lauri has been with Dahlin Group for 17 years and specializes in design and entitlement of master planned communities throughout the western United States.
Laurie (Teunis) Kelly, '84 BuMg, earned her Master of Education degree at the University of Maryland in May. She teaches and leads a third-grade team at Prince George's County school. Laurie and husband Bill own a home in Takoma Park, Md. Both like traveling throughout the U.S. and recently enjoyed the beauty of Bermuda.
Maureen Moriarty, '84 Spcm, Sammamish, Wash., professional executive coach, corporate trainer, team facilitator and founder of Pathways to Change, was recently hired by Bellevue Community College in the Seattle area to teach Leadership Lessons Learned from the NBC Series "The Apprentice." She has two sons, Josh and Ashton, and would enjoy networking and connecting with MSU graduates. Her Web site is www.pathtochange.com.
Deborah Jane (Warp) Matus, '86 BuMg, Boise, Idaho, is still enjoying the Boise area, 12 years and counting.
Maj. Theresa Sroczyk, '88 Math, has been reassigned to Volkel Air Base, The Netherlands. She and her husband, Thomas, are parents of two children, Samatha, 11, and Jennifer, 9.
Patrick Behm, '89 ChE, Billings, has earned top salesman award for the third consecutive year. Pat works for Brock Easley, LLC, a leading manufacturer's rep company selling industrial products throughout 12 states in the Rocky Mountain region.
David Gunn, '89 FTV, Fairfield, Conn., has recently been named contributing photographer to World Wrestling Entertainments (WWE) Smackdown and RAW magazines.
Edward Olson, '89 EE, would like to thank the College of Engineering and Dr. John Hanton for education dollars well spent. After 15 years of working in RF, wireless and GPS technology in the Silicon Valley, he has decided to launch 7 Sigma Consulting. He will be transitioning the business to Red Lodge over the next 24 months. He hopes to eventually employ an MSU grad and keep engineering talent in Montana. His wife, Jeannine (Haugan) Olson, '90 BuMk, will manage strategic marketing plans and client relations. They live in Campbell, Calif.
