Homecoming Festivities and Events
Thursday, October 9th  
9:00 p.m. "Go Cats" lighting at Residence Halls - see Hedges residents spell out Go Cats on the high rise halls - a great site!
9:00 p.m. Watch the "M" light up!
Friday, October 10th
Blue & Gold Friday
All day Hello Walk” – stroll the campus Centennial Mall and say hello to fellow alumni, and current students and enjoy Homecoming Friday.  Visit the Bookstore and load up on Bobcat gear!
All day Coffee Cats – Renne Library staff invite you to have coffee and take a tour of the beautifully renovated academic center of campus.
10:15 - 11:15 Campus Tour from an MSU student – meet at Ask-Us Desk in the SUB.
10:30 a.m. Herrick Hall Reception – Join the College of Education, Health and Human Development for morning tea at classic Herrick Hall.
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. M-DAYHike to the "M" on Mount Baldy, established by the class of 1918.  The first 100 climbers to the M get a t-shirt to commemorate your Homecoming hike. 
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. President’s Homecoming Luncheon and Alumni Awards Ceremony – Join President Geoff Gamble for his Homecoming luncheon, while honoring/awarding the recipients of the prestigious Blue and Gold Award and the Alumni Achievement Award.  $18/person.  Hannon Hall Dining Room. 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Museum of the Rockies – See this awesome jewel of campus and the new exhibit and experience the Lewis & Clark challenge course. $7/person.
3:00 - 5:00 p.m. MSU Historic Buildings Tour, hosted by the MSU Alumni Association and City of Bozeman Historic Preservation department.  Park and meet at the Alumni Center to begin the tour.
6:30 p.m. Homecoming Pep Rally - Downtown Bozeman, Main St. and Bozeman Ave.
7 - 11 p.m. Take in the Sites, Cuisine, Fun, Excitement, by strolling down Main Street. Meet up with old MSU friends and make new friends reminiscing about your college days.
8:00 p.m. Midnight Mania!  MSU Students join in this excitement-filled traditional Homecoming event as tournaments, pizza wars and lots of activity, provide on-campus fun for current students.
Saturday, October 11th
Bobcat Saturday! (wear your Blue and Gold!)
10 a.m. Homecoming Parade - Stake out a prime spot early to join in the celebration of this long-lasting tradition down Main Street.  Buy your traditional mum from the SPURS.  If you are interested in participating in the parade, contact the student Homecoming Chair through ASMSU at 406-994-2933.
11:00 a.m. Bobcat Plaza Tour - see the new Bobcat Plaza and consider a brick to acknowledge your MSU legacy. Meet at the South East corner of the football stadium. Look for the tent on the plaza. A staff member from Bobcat Track & Field will be there to greet you. Must have game ticket to enter.
11:30 a.m. Alumni Tailgate Party 
Whoop it up Montana State-style , in the tailgate tent, before the game.  This is a spirit packed tradition for everybody and a great place to gather your group. No host beer available.
12:05 p.m. Cheer on the Cats as they walk from the Fieldhouse to the Stadium.
1:35 p.m.  Bobcat Football vs. Weber State  
Cheer the Bobcats on to victory!  Crowning of 2008 Homecoming King & Queen and the fabulous Spirit of the West Marching band!  $25/ game ticket.
