Hometown/where you consider home now: I am proud to say I grew up in beautiful Butte, MT – and yes, I am 100% Irish!
Favorite MSU tradition: The ‘M’ on Mount Baldy. Established in 1918 the ‘M’ continues to symbolize Montana State University, Bozeman and the state of Montana. I see the ‘M’ several times each day from work and from home. I feel blessed to be a graduate from MSU, to work at MSU and to make my home in Bozeman.
Favorite food: I love fruits & vegetables – especially potatoes – I grew up having potatoes every night for dinner.
What I like about my job: I know it sounds trite, but I really do enjoy coming to work each day. I enjoy the people I work with and the people I work for. I communicate with Montana State alumni around the world. I am so proud to be associated with Montana State University and I truly hope I do my part to promote MSU Excellence through my work.
In my spare time, I like to: Spend time with my family and friends, serve as a community volunteer and spend time outdoors. I have a very close family which includes my husband and my two daughters (and one son-in-law) and my yellow lab - Bailey. My brothers and sisters and their families and all my in-laws make up a very large extended family – I love it!!! I also have a very wonderful group of friends – my bunko friends are awesome. Serving this great community of Bozeman is also important to me. I have served as a Girl Scout leader for eleven years, volunteered as “Room Mom”, “Cookie Mom”, Gift Wrap Volunteer, Carnival Volunteer, Parent Advisory Council President, Red Cross volunteer and as a religious education teacher. I also love to spend time outdoors – gardening, biking, walking – just hanging out.
Something unique that most people don't know about me: I have a DOUBLE! That’s right, I have an identical twin sister who moved back to Bozeman from California two years ago. I now have to answer to not only my name , but her name too. We have so much fun together. We see each other every day – we now live across the street from each other!!!
